Today we celebrate Viernes del Throwback with a fiesta favorite: Cantina Clásica Tortillas.
Long ago—when it was still called “Sara Lee”—Hillshire Brands approached us to develop a tortilla brand to generate third generation Latino consumer purchase, and take market share from authentic and mainstream tortilla makers.
We grounded the brand by providing a sense of place in an illustrated cantina. Then we designed a shield that incorporates Spanish Colonial architectural influences, like bright colors and fluting. Give us a seis-color project, and we’ll jump in with both pies.
In a marketplace stuffed full of stuffable tortillas, we’ll stop by El Cantina Clásica anytime. ¡Muy bueno!
